Eligibility Criteria for NMMS Scholarship

• The student’s family’s total annual income from all sources should not exceed ₹150,000.
• The student must currently be in Class 8 or about to enter Class 9.
• The student must have secured at least 55% marks in Class 7 (50% marks for SC/ST students)
• The student must be a regular student in a government-aided or local body school.
• Students from Central Schools, Navodaya Vidyalayas, and private schools are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.

NMMS Scholarship Exam

To avail of this scholarship, students must apply for the scholarship and take an offline examination. This scholarship is conducted by the Ministry of Education of the central and state governments. The scholarship involves two papers, the MAT and the SAT, and students can benefit from this scholarship by performing well in these exams.

• First, go to the official website of the National Scholarship Portal.
• Go to the Student section and click on ‘New Registration’.
• Before registering, carefully read all the instructions and click on “I Agree”.
• Now enter your mobile number that is linked to your Aadhaar card.
• Enter the OTP and verify it.
